What does a Wedding DJ do?
Ceremony The most important and meaningful part of the day, the ceremony, should be filled with beautiful music. We set the atmosphere once guests begin to arrive by providing music that speaks to the heart. Once ceremony begins we ensure that a smooth transition from one song to the next is flawless and blends together to create the flow of the processional and recessional.
Cocktails Hour During your cocktail hour we are aware that your guests wish to converse without having loud music to speak over. We play easy listening, jazz and slow love ballads at a level that is enjoyable for all.
Introductions We make sure that introductions are done right. That's why we are personally involved in the line up of the family and bridal party to ensure that each name is announced and pronounced correctly. We ensure that introductions smooth and flow into your first dance as a couple the way it should be.
Dinner Hour During your dinner hour, just as the Cocktail Hour, we are aware that you and your guests wish to converse without having to raise your voices over the music. We play easy listening, jazz, love ballads and slowly increase the tempo towards the end of dinner to begin creating the celebration. At the end of dinner we transition to important dances such as father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, grandparents dance, etc.
Dance Party This is the part you and your guests are waiting for - getting your groove on! We play a variety of top 40, hip-hop, R&B, country, decades (50s, 60s, 70s) and the most current line dances to ensure that all your guests are represented musically. We play what you and your guests want to hear; but we do try to keep the music family-friendly when children are present.
