1. Are you going to be the one DJ'ing for my event?
Yes. Musik4U typically has two DJs at scheduled events. Since we are husband and wife owned, we are a husband and wife team. There will be rare times that only one of us will be at your event.
2. Will my event be the only one on the schedule for the day?
Most of the time yes, your event will be the only one scheduled. There are rare times that we will schedule more than one event since we have two djs. But keep in mind that one of our DJs is also a wedding officiant and may arrive during the reception to join our other DJ.
3. Will you be there for the ceremony rehearsal? Is this an extra charge?
Yes, we can be there for the rehearsal. It helps with timing the music to your preferences for this special day. Typically the rehearsal is part of the original quote. **A $50 fee may be applied depending on venue location and/or last minute rehearsal notifications.
4. Can I make a list of songs we want played?
Yes. We encourage you to supply us with a list of your music. Not only is that to ensure you hear your songs, this shows us what type of music is preferred. We do reserve the right to not play certain music for various reasons (lyrical content, innuendo, language, etc.).
5. Do you take requests once the song list is set?
This is up to the event planner (bride and/or groom or host). We do need this approved before the event. We do reserve the right to not play certain requested music for various reasons (lyrical content, innuendo, language, etc.).
6. How soon do you show up before the event to do set-up and sound check?
For DJ we arrive at least 2 hours before the event (if venue allows) to do set-up and sound check. We need 1 hour breakdown and load out.
For wedding/event management we arrive at the pre-determined time set forth in the contract.
For officiant she arrives 15-30 minutes before invitation time; except for elopements and Just Make It Legal ceremonies, the arrival time is typically within 10 minutes of the agreed upon time.
7. Do you make announcements or just play music?
We can make announcements if you so choose. Or we can just play music and you can designate someone to be the emcee.
8. Do we provide you with food and/or drink?
This is up to the event planner (bride and groom or event host) but typically yes. If food is provided, we do wait until all the guests have been served.

Not only do we provide DJ service, we provide Day-Of Event/Wedding Management, Karaoke Hosting, and Wedding Officiating.
